Where do family sessions take place in Fuerteventura?
I’ll recommend the best location based on your family, the time of year and the kind of photographs you’re looking for. Beaches, dunes and quieter spots around the island all offer something different.
What time do family sessions take place?
Most sessions take place around golden hour, close to sunset. This gives us the soft, warm light that defines my work, while also making outdoor sessions more comfortable for children.
Can we choose the location ourselves?
Of course. If you already have a place in mind, let me know. Otherwise, I’ll recommend a location based on where you’re staying, your family and the kind of photographs you’d like to create. I know the island well and will help you choose the right spot and the best time for the light.
What if my children don’t behave or don’t want to pose?
That’s completely fine — they don’t need to. I won’t ask children to sit still, smile on command or look at the camera throughout the session. We’ll walk, play, explore and interact, while I gently guide you when needed. Some of the best photographs happen when nobody is posing.
Do we need to know how to pose?
Not at all. That’s my job. I’ll give you simple prompts and gentle direction throughout the session, while leaving plenty of space for natural movement and connection.
What should we wear for our family photoshoot?
I’ll send you simple styling guidance before your session. I recommend choosing comfortable clothes in colours that work naturally with Fuerteventura’s landscape, rather than matching everyone exactly.
How do we choose our photographs?
After the session, you’ll receive a private gallery with all your images in low resolution. You can then choose your favourite images according to the number included in your package. I’ll professionally edit your selection and deliver the final photographs in high resolution.
When will we receive our final photographs?
Your professionally edited, high-resolution images will be delivered within 7–10 days after you make your selection.
Can we have family photos if we have young children?
Absolutely. Young children are very welcome. The session is relaxed and flexible, and I’ll adapt the pace and prompts to your children rather than expecting them to sit still or pose. There’s no pressure for them to perform — we’ll let them move, play and explore naturally.
Can grandparents or extended family join the session?
Of course. Family sessions can include grandparents, siblings and extended family. Just let me know who will be joining when you enquire so I can recommend the experience and location that will work best for everyone.
